This series of works is named A Fine Balance in homage to the poignant novel by Rohinton Mistry. It speaks to the physical balance between the ceramic forms — their materiality, colour, and repetitive stacking — inviting viewers to recognize the beauty inherent in sustained devotion.

A 2026 interview with fashion brand Radical Yes proposed the question:

Q: We wondered if you could elaborate on what these new works symbolise for you. Is there anything significant in the totem concept?

A: Yes. Repetition. And of course colour.

“I've had a shift in the way I look at my work from why to how. I've been exploring the idea of the process itself being this connection I'm looking to articulate.  The idea of personal ritualized labour, so repetition has become symbolic in this way. And colour of course is something I draw from Hindu worship culture, the aesthetics of ritual - my mothers sari collection - and my immediate natural surroundings. So the multi objects in the totem represent these elements, the scale reflecting a confidence in finding a way to articulate my connection.”
